The NYTVF is proud to present the first-annual Independent Pilot Competition, the only industry-recognized platform that allows aspiring television makers to showcase their independently produced pilots directly for network and cable executives. The 2005 competition features 26 pilots in five major categories: Comedy, Reality, Documentary, Animation and Drama.

In addition to the Independent Pilot Competition, the NYTVF is also featuring a number of exclusive specialty screenings, a panel discussion series and several special events intended to celebrate the television industry and to honor those who have made meaningful contributions to it. 	MILK STUDIOS 450 West 15th Street Milk Studios is serving as a featured screening venue and is hosting the NYTVF Panel Discussion Series.The second floor of Milk Studios houses the exclusive Founder’s Lounge and the spectacular TV Land screening room.
	PHILLIPS DE PURY & COMPANY 450 West 15th Street Located on the third floor of the building that houses Milk Studios, the galleries at Phillips feature the screening rooms presented by Official Network Sponsors FOX, NBC, MTV Networks, A&E Networks and Rainbow Media. Phillips is hosting the 2005 NYTVF Opening Night Party.
	SOHO HOUSE 29-35 9th Avenue Soho House is an official industry venue of the NYTVF. Located in the heart of the Meatpacking District, it has become a staple for New York’s elite. On September 29th and 30th, it is hosting the Breakfast at Soho House Panel Discussion Series.
